We humans are always living by the minute. Subway train arrives at 11:47, we apologize for being 2 minutes late to a meeting.

I have often seen people get annoyed by their digital watches being off even by a minute or the analog wall clock running behind by 15 minutes. They always have the compulsiveness to fix the disorder.

I wanted to make a clock that would make people live with a little disorder.

The Idea

3 clocks placed next to each other. 2 of them run on the right time.

The third one runs out of order. The moment someone tries to fix the out of order clock all the three clocks go out of sync, with their hands spinning at random speed.

I used 3 esp32s and 3 VID28s to control the clocks. The 3 clocks communicated with each other via Bluetooth.

I fabricated my clocks using wood. It was fun to experiment with different designs for the hands of the clocks.

I wanted my clocks to look simple and not too fancy so that people would be encouraged to interact with it.
